Located to the northern entrance of the park, The San Pedrillo Ranger Station is about 45 minutes by boat south of Drake Bay. It is mostly visited by people coming from Sierpe and Drake Bay and the closest station to Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp. Visitors come there for day trips, a 5-hour hike from Drake Bay to the ranger’s station that follows the beach from Drake Bay to Punto Marenco. The Rio Claro can be crossed at low tide however boats are also available. The short trails of San Pedrillo are excellent for wildlife observation and some even have beautiful waterfall and rivers that are great for swimming.

The Corcovado National Park is one of Costa Rica’s most wild and beautiful areas. This lush natural paradise is located on the remote Osa Peninsula and is home to an extensive variety of flora and fauna – some of which found no other place on the planet. The Corcovado National Park was names by National Geographic as one of the “most biologically diverse places on the planet” and when you visit here – you’ll understand why!

Drake Bay is located on the North Western coast of the Osa Peninsula and is where the Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp is located. This is the perfect place from which to explore this unique and beautiful area and daily tours are available from Drake Bay to the Cano Island and Corcovado National Park. Getting to Drake Bay is half the adventure, travelers choose to hop aboard a domestic flight or come in by boat through the mangroves up the Sierpe River.
